Do I have to pay taxes in Dubai?

Dubai has long been considered a tax haven, but as of June 2023, some changes have been made. Mainland companies now have to pay a corporate tax of 9% on profits exceeding AED 375,000. However, Freezone companies are exempt from this rule and continue to pay no taxes. Despite these changes, the tax rates in Dubai remain internationally competitive. The UAE also continues to offer tax incentives and advantages for businesses.
